Lavonne Gail Alden was born on July 16, 1939, in Watertown, SD to Elmer and Opal (Hart) Alden. She married Kenneth Morris, Jr. on December 17, 1977, in Brentford, SD. She was a homemaker and outside of the home, she cleaned at the Brentford Bar.
Lavonne loved pets, especially her stuffed animals. She loved getting her nails painted and wearing jewelry. If there was a bingo game, you could always find her involved. Family was important, and you could always count on her laughs, giggles, lots of big hugs, and her great smile.
Grateful for sharing her life are her sister Pat (Arnold) Arneson of Tulare, SD; three brothers: Roger Alden of Mellette, SD; David (Sharon) Alden of Anaconda, MT; and Harry (Katherine) Alden of Waukegan, IL; special friend Robert Schmidt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth, parents Elmer and Opal, brother James, sister-in-law Winnie, and two infant sisters.
