Lois Englet, 90, of Redfield, SD, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Golden Living Center, Redfield, SD. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, in Redfield. Rev. Brian Wasmoen officiate. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2007, from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Thelen Funeral Home in Redfield, SD. Lois's family will be present from 6-8:00 p.m. to receive condolences. (www.thelenfuneralhome.com)

Lois Elsie Strege was born in Osceola, SD, on December 16, 1916, to Tillie (Komis) Strege and William Strege. She graduated from Redfield High School and on December 16, 1936, she Married Lyle Englet in Redfield. Lois worked at the State School and Home for forty years as a nurse. She enjoyed music, bowling and was a member of the I.O.O.F Rebecca Lodge, the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. Lois was an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church; she sang in the church choir, taught Sunday school and was a member of the ladies circle.

She is survived by her son Lee of Houston, TX, her daughter LaDonna Brist of Watertown, SD; her sisters, Mildred Harms, Kansas City, MO and Delores (George) Weiland of Worthington, MN; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters and a brother.
